In the fall of 2016, I was fortunate enough to travel to Barahona, Dominican Republic with the Batey Rehab Project, a organization helping to build houses for impoverished families. This was my second trip, where I helped to construct Casa de la Flor- a house for Flora, her older brother Ramon, schizophrenic son, youngest daughter Lizette, and eldest daughter.

In the fall of 2015, I was fortunate enough to travel for the first time to Barahona, Dominican Republic with the Batey Rehab Project, to help build my first house- Casa de la Bikiana- for Bikiana and her family.
